About the Role

The Fundraising Manager role is an opportunity to directly support STEM·E’s capacity to drive impact within the local community, as well as nationally and internationally. In collaboration with key leadership, the Fundraising Manager will strategize, plan, and manage an annual fundraising event, annual fundraising plan, and grant writing efforts, to drive charitable donations for our events and programming that serve underprivileged, under-represented families. You will fulfill a critical role in driving our organization’s development and financial resources to make a pivotal difference for our students.

Role Responsibilities

  • Strategize and work collaboratively with the Executive Director and fundraising interns to develop, plan and manage a yearly fundraising plan, including smaller non-event fundraisers and email fundraisers

  • Develop, plan, and host an annual fundraiser event

  • Strategize, manage, and work collaboratively with grant writing interns to write and submit charitable grant applications, including Letters of Intent and local community grant applications

  • Guide and advise interning fundraising coordinators and grant writers throughout the fundraising and grant writing process to empower and educate them while helping to drive fundraising efforts to success

  • Track and manage all charitable donations

  • Capture fundraising success metrics to analyze impact and to improve future fundraising efforts

  • Patient, Service-Oriented Leader & Coach – work compassionately with new students and interns in the field to transfer knowledge and drive learning



Qualifications/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant field preferred, not required

  • 1+ years of leadership experience

  • 1+ years of fundraising experience

  • 1+ years of event planning experience

  • 1+ years of grant writing experience preferred, not required
